A few years ago, Games Workshop released a modular board, and I was intrigued, but it didn't really fit what I wanted. I've been looking into modular tabletop terrain for both fantasy and science fiction games for a bit now, and this Kickstarter has perfect timing -- modular sci-fi boards of more modern theme, and less of an "open battlefield" theme.
Secret World Miniatures has started its own modular board, and they have scrapyard, street, and damaged street sets. To go with it, they have junkyard walls -- walls made of discarded refuse (and the occasional missile -- no big). It ends on May 12th.
