Kickstarter: D&D/Pathfinder Miniatures

For quite a while, I've wanted a set of miniatures with interchangeable parts that covered humans in most of the armor available in Dungeons and Dragons or other fantasy games. It's been particularly difficult to find, and cost-prohibitive, as to properly assemble models representative of adventurers (and not just soldiers), one needs to cobble together a lot of parts and spend quite a bit of money.  Kingdom Death changes that.

Kingdom Death, at its core, is a board game filled with what amounts to boss fights interspersed with base building. Players fight large creatures, and then level up their particular village through different upgrades to armor and weaponry, as well as the use of tools like lanterns and the such. What I'm particularly excited about, though, is that each upgrade is reflected in the miniatures -- meaning that this game, for $100-$200 (depending on what you'd like), comes with the miniatures necessary to reflect everything from no armor to heavy plate, and then again using dragon hide and the such. And it doesn't stop there -- parts are meant to be interchangeable, meaning (with likely heavy use of magnets) you can do weapon swaps and item swaps. Each armor set comes with 2 men and 2 women, including 4 of every weapon they have access to. The minis are highly detailed and well sculpted.
So.  Many.  Blades.
All in all, it seems to be well worth the money, especially when compared to Games Workshop's prices. If you'd like a guide to plan out what the damage would be, a fan created a visual price guide so that you can identify the exact amount you'd like to pledge. All in all, I'm very impressed and wonder why someone hasn't already done this by now.
