Dioramas are expensive, and take up huge amounts of space. I've been tinkering with card-based terrain with limited success, and they don't particularly have the same effect. Tabletop Towns alleviates a lot of that.
The goal of Tabletop Towns is to create cheap, durable, colored and realistic tabletop terrain, without the storage fuss or the time having to be put in. I dare say they've met their goal.
