Kickstarter Feature: Conspiracy X

Conspiracy X is an RPG with a rather unique system, and a rather unique setting.  It's a similar setting to the old Paranoia RPG, where conspiracies conflict for world domination.  It's got a much more serious tone, and incorporated all sorts of supernatural theories.  By system, I don't mean the core mechanic -- that one is shared among 5 or 6 other games, including the Buffy RPG and All Flesh Must be Eaten.

Remember the Zener cards from Ghostbusters?  The ones used to test ESP?  That's their magic system.  You draw a number of cards equal to your skill, and see if the card you guess is the correct one.  They've used Kickstarter to fund much of the revitalization of this old game, minus the 2007 core.  Right now, the only module up for Kickstarting is one of their splats -- the Conspiracies Sourcebook.

Here's the true value in this Kickstarter -- you can use it to buy any of the books, at discount.  Either you can follow the normal Kickstarter sale model on the side, or pick and choose what you want by creating a custom order.  Want a Zener deck, but don't want to fork out the $20 that Amazon charges?  They've got custom ones for $10.  To boot, the bonuses are nice -- you can get maps and satellite photos of Area 51.  Even though I'm not interested in the system itself, I'm really tempted to put down some change on this one because of the deck and the bonuses.  Anyway, check it out!  Conspiracy fun for the whole family!
